Rather than standard springs, our Chiro Flex ES spring system is 60% stronger than other children’s mattresses. The foams in the EcoKids mattresses are GECA or Global GreenTag certified, for their environmentally-friendly design, and approved by the National Asthma Council’s Sensitive Choice program.

Eco Kids mattress prioritises both comfort and safety. It is reflected in the recent recognition: the Eco Kids mattress has been found compliant with the CO2 requirements of INPAA VAG-006. Even though the slats in the Montessori Floor Bed provide airflow, by following these care tips, you can keep your Sleepy Monkey floor bed and Mettress in excellent condition, preventing mould under your mattress and providing a safe and cozy sleeping space for your child. 

• Regular Airing: Lift the mattress against a wall and air it out once a week to allow any trapped moisture to evaporate. I do it when I change the sheets.
• Cleanliness: Keep the area under the bed clean and use a mattress protector to prevent spills and stains from seeping into the mattress.
• Humidity Control: Ensure proper ventilation in the room by opening windows or using a fan or dehumidifier if you live in a more humid climate.
• Dry Environment: Avoid placing the bed directly on damp floors or against damp walls. In case of spills, clean and dry the affected area immediately.
• Slat Maintenance: Ensure the slats are spaced evenly to promote air circulation under the mattress.

Floor Bed Warranty

We offer a 12 month manufacturers warranty on all our Montessori Beds. If there are any defects, a replacement panel(s) will be sent to you.

EcoKids Bamboo Mattress Warranty

• All Eco Kids mattresses must be rotated on a regular basis. Single-sided mattresses need to be spun around 180 degrees (head to toe). 
• All Eco Kids mattresses must be rotated once per month for the duration of the warranty period. We recommend that you rotate your mattress twice in the first month after the purchase and then monthly thereafter as outlined above.
• All Eco Kids mattresses MUST have a waterproof mattress protector on them at all times. This will help keep the mattress in a sanitary condition and prevent stains and moisture from bodily fluids reaching the mattress. Should moisture reach the mattress, it will likely result in the warranty being voided due to the unsanitary state of the mattress.
• All Eco Kids mattresses MUST be placed on suitable supportive bases which are not too hard or too soft. Bases need to provide consistent support with un-covered gaps not exceeding 10cm and covered gaps not exceeding 14cm. They must also not restrict air circulation in any way. Failure to comply with this may damage your mattress and void your warranty. 

Delivering mattresses that are not the roll-up mattress-in-a-box kind is a logistical feat not for the faint hearted. We partnered with a specialty courier that will facilitate the mattress being delivered into your home and you will be able to specify the delivery date/time directly after your purchase.
